water has reflective properties, as does any substance, but water has no color properties of its own.

a color is the ABSENCE of that pigment in its reflection of light,
a green liquid looks green because that is the color that is absent from reflection,

water reflects the color of its surroundings like a mirror, thus the water will appear to be pink.
