I have a very sharp pain in the front of my head. It is above my sinuses. It is not a headache pain. It is like there is someone stabbing the inside of my head with a knife, and it just moved up. I took two aspirin. What could it be, and what should I do about it?

It may not be signs of a stroke as I am only 16.

Could be a migraine. My daughter has gotten them since she was 4. For her they start with some numbness of her limbs, some nauseau and tiredness. She takes Advil liquid gels for this and goes and lays down in her darkened room.

Or it could be from eyestrain which could be from staring at your computer for a long time. When using your computer make sure you have a light on besides the one from your computer screen (same thing for watching tv) and get up now and then and look elsewhere.

I get painful headaches that feel like knitting needles being stabbed into my brain at various points in my head. It's just a type of headache. I don't get them often, but I have been getting them for year - younger than when I was 16. If it continues after the aspirin, see a doctor.

Signs of a stroke. Get to a doctor. Even at 16 you could have a stroke.

This is not the place for this question. Without a look at you and other related symptoms, it is very difficult for anyone to give good medical advice. Whatever you get here will only be guesses and approximations. You can be mislead

Its best to consult your doc.
