She has a current boyfriend that she says she truly loves and wants to be with, but yet she insists on keeping the men of her past in the present. I'm sure there is more than one reason, other than the obvious, that she still holds something for him/them, but what other reasons are there? Are there any reasons that are truly 100% innocent?

Girls tend to me more emotional and clingy than men. Just out of observation, women and men tend to get almost closer once apart, as they tend to feel a bit more comfortable sharing more personal things than they did when they were once together. That is of course if they ended on positive notes. Couples tend to have a hard time conveying honest feelings to each other, but someone they know pretty well (such as past boyfriends) make an easier outlet for someone to talk too.

maybe they ended it on a good note and they want to be civilized and stay friends or at least aquaintances...there is nothing wrong with that as long as she doesnt act on the past feelings and knows she has a current boyfriend

There's nothing wrong with remaining friends with them, and if she dated them for awhile or was friends with them before that then of course she would want to remain friends with them. Unless of course they split under bad terms, then I'm not sure why, but if it's under good terms that's more than likely the reason. It was for most of mine.

most women are usually are still attracted to their ex's.they still have feeling's so they try to make the other jealous by going out with another guy.they hope that maybe their ex will realize that they may have got feelings for her.
