Why not study the first thing God wrote, existance itself? The bible is mere commentary, but existatance cannot be denied.

Most people do not like to read in the first place. They would be wise to go out to Wal-mart or some other similar outlet and buy the Bible on CD or god forbid tape! If someone with lots of knowledge that far surpasses mine would develop an interactive audio CD where you could ask the Bible on CD questions, and it would know exactly what verse or verses that would provide a satisfactory answer to the problem at hand. This interactive CD should not only provide the correct verse(s), but should explain the verse(s) with real life examples. This sounds a little far fetched, but man has developed much more complex technology than an interactive Bible on CD. But the sad thing about this, is that you would have to order this per denomination. The Catholic version would be vastly different from the Baptist version. Another sad thing is that each denomination would want some type of "copyright" saying that their version was the "correct version fully God approved" A question that I would love to ask Jesus is what denomination is he. I think we all know what his answer would be, and many of us would not like it although we would know deep in our hearts that he is correct.

Because the bible lies:
"This generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place" (Matthew 24:34, Luke 21:32)[1]. Indeed, C.S. Lewis called this "the most embarrassing verse in the Bible"
"Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom" (Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27).

Because too often we want the easy answer and the easy way out. If we want the truth we need to seek God's Word.
As for all the people who say the bible was written by men, yes it was, but it was authored by God.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

A very few do. But for the most part, people read with selfish motives. Proof?, look at all the apostate televangelists telling people in no uncertain terms, give to me and God will bless you!
Clearly, when someones motive is materially corrupt, no blessings shall be given. Yet for those that seek to find what it takes to be called God's Friend, the blessing of understanding, love, peace, and joy, are a reward beyond anything material. If one seeks to find out what pleases and displeases God, and
does the former(pleases), then, he will begin to truly know God.
Jesus said "Not everyone saying "Lord, Lord",will enter the Kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will." So anyone that tells you "no one knows what God's will is", is not in agreement with what Jesus said.

Prove it.
Without pointing to the Bible. Prove it. The book was written by the hands of MAN for the control of MAN. I can also find the answers to life in Dear Abby, or the daily horoscope - I'm not about to form a religion around it.

I don't believe in any gods or any religion. I believe the bible to be nothing more than another fictional book. I would rather evaluate my problems and come to a logical solution than do what some book written thousands of years ago says.
Enjoy your faith, by all means, but there's no reason to force it on others.

Why dont you go to the Poetic Eddas for the One Truth, instead of the Middle Eastern lies of the Bible? Ragnarok could happen any day now, are you on Odin's side or not? Is your soul ready?
