This is how my hair looks when it's completely natural: Really puffy, and parts are straight, parts are wavyish, and parts are really wavy. How can I get it puff-free, frizz-free, and curly, or pretty waves? What is honestly the best curling product for my hair type? (Also, tell me whether to just put it on wet hair and let it air dry, or scrunch with a diffuser)

Honestly, product is huge for people with your hair type. Product can make your life so much easier and give you the curls you desire!
Start with a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I like Nioxin system 7 for your hair type, or Hempz, Paul Mitchell, Rusk or KMS. After you've out of the shower, gently towel blot and squeeze out the water, (don't rough up the hair with the towel!) then apply some type of a leave-in conditioner. Nioxin has Silk Elixir that is awesome for your hair type. Then go over the top of it with Nioxin Pure Shine Gel or Smoothing Gel if you want more hold or if you have areas that don't curl as well, go ahead and use a gel that has a little more hold to it. My absolute fave product is Nioxin Volume and Texture Creme. Great for straight haired folks too!!! The most important thing with any leave in/gel/creme you use is to thoroughly apply scalp to ends all through the hair. You may feel that you are using too much, but in this situation it is almost better to have too much than not enough. When the product is thoroughly applied all through the hair, then scrunch and diffuse if you so desire. If you want to air dry, you'll want to leave your hair alone until it is dry. If you mess with it as it is drying, it will break down the gel and the strands will separate away from the ringlet of curl and can look "frizzy". If you leave it alone until it is dry, then you can lightly finger through to "break it up a bit" and scrunch some more to soften up the gel, but by then the ringlets and waves are set, so they can withstand a little bit of fingering and scrunching without frizzing, provided you used enough product. Hope this helps and good luck with your hair!

I have attempted each and did not have a lot good fortune with both. Believe it or no longer, I have had plenty of good fortune with the natural essences merchandise. When I wish to put on my hair curly, I use their curling mousse and use the blow dryer to "smoosh" the curls till they're damp dry. Then I allow the air conclude the activity and it truthfully works rather good. I do not get a lot frizz with it. They even have shampoo and conditioner in particular for curly hair. Good success!

When I wore my hair curly, I used Springing Curls By Loreal (studio line) and Aussie Scrunch spray. NOTHING BETTER. My curls were well defined and my hair was FRIZZ FREE

chi is good, but i have crazy curly hair and I use john freida's frizz ease products and it works great on my hair. It helps the frizz, even in the humid wheather and makes it soft and manageable. get the shampoo and conditioner and the serum. and the mousse is good too!!!
