Alright, I am about to consider having sex with a person. They kinda run with a rough crowd and might have experimented with some drugs. Are they any drugs that cause any STDs? It'd be great if you could tell me and save me the hard work of looking it up.

There are no drugs that I know of that cause STDs. Maybe you are thinking about drugs that involve needles, and maybe they get STD's from sharing those needles like AIDS and such. If you don't share a needle with this person, and use a condom, it is highly unlikely that you would catch an STD from this person. But if you don't know the answer to this question, you may want to rethink having sex with ANYONE until you have all the right information. It is just too dangerous and not worth taking unnecessary risks.

Unprotected sex with an infected person causes STDs, not drugs. There is no drug that will cause a healthy person to develop an STD. Some STDs, AIDS for example, *can* be transmitted through the use of shared needles, but it is the infected blood causing the disease, not the drugs in the needle.

If you really plan to engage in a sexual relationship with someone in a high-risk group, use protection, and get tested regularly.

You can't get an STD from a drug. The only way you can get an STD from a drug is if you were sharing an infected needle. And that isn't even the drug's fault! Maybe you shouldn't have sex if you don't even know how you contract an STD. Did I just save you five seconds of hard searching?

There arent any drugs that cause STD's directly. However when a person uses drugs they are not in their right state of mind. So they may haave sex with someone who they might not have if they had been sober, or may choose not to wear a condom. If this person runs with a rough crowd. I would reconsider having sex with that person. Some STD's you cant get rid of and the haunt you for the rest of your life, and Im sure you dont want that. If you do decide to do it, make sure to look for any leakage or discharge, its a red flag. Even thought most STDS are undetectable. Godd luck Sweetie

Viruses can be transmitted through blood transfer, so in that respect needle users have a much higher risk of contracting HIV and Hepetitis.

There are no drugs that directly cause STD's. However an arguement could be made that drug users (alcohol being included as a drug) would be less responsible in regards to using protection. As the old saying goes, when you sleep with someone, you sleep with everyone they've slept with too.

Drugs do not cause STDs. People who share needles a lot are more likely to get an STD from a contaminated needle though.

NO drug will ever cause an STD on its own, however if the person is using dirty needles or sharing needles he/she can catch some diseases that way. Smoking pot or popping pills will never give you an std. So like i said it all depends on what he or she did.

Drugs themselves don't cause STD's, but one can get a STD from sharing needles. Or someone could be so f***ed up on drugs that they sleep around and don't use protection= STD.

Um, drugs don't cause STDs. STD stands for sexually transmitted DISEASE. Drugs don't cause diseases, viruses cause diseases.
On another note, in light of your obvious lack of knowledge on the subject, I would postpone having sex with this person until you learn a little more about it.

Drugs themselves don't cause STD's. You may be thinking of people that shoot drugs. If people share needles with someone with Hep or AIDS those can be transmitted , but then they aren't sexually transmitted but intravenously. An infected person can then pass them on sexually.
