What are the signs that last days are coming?( End of the World)

Some people say that these signs starting to appear to us in our days?Concidence?

There has been many (Matt.24:24)false Christs and (1John 4:1)false prophets. This has happened--people have claimed to be Christ(Matt.24:5); I forgot their names. Many false prophets today don't follow Jesus (Phil.2:21; Col.2:8) and they say Jesus is spirit when he was here on earth[trinity thinking].

Matt..24:6-7 These events has/have been happening, Remember the earthquake in the ocean as other places in the world. Having wars too and so on.

Pope claiming to be God--people confess their sins to him instead of God the Father. --2Thess.2:3-4; Rev.13:1,2.

People will be marrying then divorcing and remarrying other people--that's going on as people being drunks.--Matt.24:39.

Rev.14:6 is being fulfillled by sabbath churches preaching the message.

When George Bush fulfilled prophecy by saying, "Peace and Safety". The next day the damage was done 9-11-2001. The Bible says in 1Thess.5:3 "For when they say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them..."

Now we have another prophecy that is Rev.17:10 "the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." This was fulfilled on television when the Papacy said, "that Benedict would be pope for a short time."

The next prophecy that will happen in future; will set a worldwide event of church and state where this is going to be religious persecution for those that don't follow the beast. [Rev.17:5] headline: "Pope's Dream of Healing Christian Rift Still a Distant Glimmer" in Enterprise Record dated Sunday June 12, 2005.

2 Timothy 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 Peter 3:8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.



God has used the terms the "last days" to encompass a peroid thus far of over 2000 years. He says that there will be wars and rumors or wars, but these things are no the end. We do not have any idea when the world will end so we must always be prepared.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 16:1 ¶ The Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing him, asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 But he answered them, "When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’
3 In the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times!
4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah." He left them, and departed.

Matthew 24 goes into quite a bit of detail on the signs of the end of the age, but I think the gist of it is that we do not know, and that we are always to be ready.

The sun starts to go supernova; a celestial body collides with the Earth; some major geologic Earth-destroying trauma occurs - pick one or make up your own. In any event, it is so far in the future Mankind will likely not be around to witness the end of the planet; for sure you and I won't see it. If you're asking about signs of the end of Mankind, look for things like *massive* numbers of people dying - more than any you can imagine - accidentally, biologically, and/or on purpose... With regard to the Bible's view and current events, realize generations before us have asked the same question, people have seen many different signs, predictions have been interpreted and re-interpreted as necessary, and we're still here. Besides, what makes you think there will be signs? Why should there be? I suspect when "the end" happens it will be a surprise to all of us.

Christ gave some events to recognize the end times.

In Matt.24:3-8, Mark 13:5-8, Luke 21:8-11.

Since 1990 (30) new countries have emerged. We now have the global market place or the global community.

Famines.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

This famine of hearing the words of the LORD is very apparent on TV. Maybe a verse or two then mans’ words for 20 minutes.

Pestilences.

Aids, mad cow disease, bird flu and etc.

Earthquakes in diverse places.

This word “earthquakes” (seismos) in Greek means both “earthquake and tempest”.

Look at the hurricanes we have been having.

All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs).

This word “sorrows” (odin) in Greek means “birth pangs of childbirth”.

The birth pangs of a new dispensation, and the contractions are getting closer together. The water may have broke during the tsunami of 2004.

Most of the signs mentioned have already happened and several are happening now: earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, famine, pestilence, etc.. And I think there are ONLY 3 or 4 [maybe 5?] more left that have YET TO HAPPEN...

For certain, we ARE at the END OF DAYS as we speak...

I notice that their are more earth quakes, and hurricanes, and floods in stranger place then in the 1970 and 1980, but I am not God and can say it mean the end of time are coming ...

And in 2 Timothy, it describes the kind of people of the last days.

1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
