Alright Everyone I Need Some Truthful Answers Here...... Next month im going on a beach trip with some family and friends. I am single, so my question to you is would it make me a bad person if i messed around while i was there and not get attached to anyone? Im not talking like sleeping around with everything that walks past me or anything but i mean explore a little and come out of my shell.

I think it is great to explore your options and see who is out there. If you feel like flirting...go ahead and explore...my feeling is if you don't want to get attatched...don't sleep with anyone one the trip...you may find the love of your life! Hope you have a great time! MayMay

It wouldn't make you a bad person, but casual sex is never a good idea--can't you find another way to come out of your shell? And if you're not talking about intercourse, how do you know the person you're "messing around" with isn't? Too easy these days for someone who's just having a good time and coming out of their shell to wind up being a Natalie Holloway.

I don't think anything is wrong with that. I did the same thing in April when I went to Cancun (no didn't sleep with anyone, but hung out with some ladies), and had such a great time that I decided to start looking again for Mrs. Right and guess what, I found her.

To explore, is not bad! you have to learn to live and live to learn! What ever you do you play your cards like it is your last hand and all the money you have is on that table! Always follow your gut. People are who they are from doing new things in their life, and if stuff don't go right than you have learned a lesson in life's class!

I think as long as you are careful and use caution then you'll be fine. Just don't go off anywhere alone with anyone without telling SOMEONE the truth about where you are going. Don't be alone with someone you just met. Don't do anything that you don't want to do, and don't let anyone push you into doing something that you don't want to do or that you know is wrong.

In my opinion you've already decided what your going to do without the opinion of the suggestions already given you in this fourm of which I have not read. Let me say this, from someone who has already been there and tried what your trying. Do everything you can to preserve yourself and wait. But be aware of the choices you make, they are yours to make regardless of device and your choices will bring about conquences or rewards.
Don't play games. Stay with your most trusted family and aways trust in the Lord.

I absolutely think you should do it.
It doesn't hurt to be wary, but the joy of travel is getting to meet and learning from new people. It's not a vacation if you didn't get to hang out with strangers for awhile.
As far as a fling, sure(with one you deem worthy, of course)! Just use condoms.

maybe u r sooo desperate to get out of ur shell n sooo eager to explore s'thing new.. but frankly, u shouldn't sleeping around with anything that walks past u... maybe u can flirt alot, make frens,have fun, but sleep with only a couple or two...be wise.. u r not trying to be a hooker, rite??

Why not as long as you are open with whoever you might become involved with that you are only interested in a casual thing. Make sure they understand you want no commitment and have no intention of it going any further. Find out who you are....live while you can.
