My male green cheek needs a mate. I am looking for a female, if you know of a breeder in the Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin I would be very much like to talk to them.

why does he need a mate ? how old is he ? by putting a female w/ him now. he could attack it. i would have a 2nd cage and put them side by side and not in the same cage until they get to know each other. best thing to do is look in the paper or phone book for bird stores and look for breeders that already dna sexed there birds. so you know for sure your getting a female.
