the only problem I see is that you might want to play with the cat and not do your work

I'd love to bring my cats to work with me too, it would make the workplace more pleasant.....i think some of my co-workers wouldn't like it much cuz they suck......

i keep photos of my cats on my desk & have 2 so when I'm not at home they can play with each other & not be bored...

Because believe it or not, some people have alergies. Besides, doesn't almost everyone hate cats? I can't stand those things. If you brought you cat to work, I would have to bring my dog... and then things would get exciting.

I don't know why you can't take your cat to work with you. Have you ever asked your boss if you could bring your cat to work? You never know, maybe your boss is a cat lover! Ask and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Tell your boss you have to bring the cat with you to work because the cat is a service animal; and he can't fire you because of your disability.

If he asks, "It is a seeing-eye cat?" No.

"Is it a hearing-ear cat...?" "no.

Then what kind of cat is it...?"

A THINKING-MIND CAT...!

Because your employer pays for your time and work and if your tending to your pet he or she will be getting short changed.
Also if you are around coworkers or the public or in a food related industry there are health concerns. Many people have severe allergic reactions to cats. Very severe Asthma.

Because there are no litter boxes at work and your coworkers would just annoy the cat.

Probably is more likely related to health laws in your area. I took a kitten to work for 2 months because I had to feed it a bottle every hour -- hid it in my drawer, and pockets. Sounds like your kitty loves you a lot.

You can't take your cat to work with you because that' s not where e it belongs. It belongs in your house chasing out all the mice, o.k.

I could guess. Because my cat would freak out, run outside and get hit by one of our service vehicles.
Maybe you should get that kitty another kitty to play with.
