To flatten your stomach in just a few days, just go to your local libarary and rent a pilates video. Amazing results!

Well I want to flatten my stomache too. I weigh about 195
and that was after having three kids I'm now fixed my advice
to you is not to eat after 8:00pm ok this is what I do lower abs
3 sets of 20 lift your but up holding your head up slightly with
your hands behind your head not using your hands to lift your
neck use all of your power for your back and your abs this
will strengthen your lower back and firm and start to flatten
your stomache. Also stress can lead to weight gain especially
in the stomache. And you might want to check with your pcp.
You also can do as many situps as you can tolerate cause
when you feel the pain you know it is working and that is
mostly for all exercises you have to feel the burn and pain
then after that drink some water slowly and take a nice bath.
Hope this helps.

actually sit-ups do flatten your tummy. I'd recommend about 25 every day. I'd also do 5-10 V-ups. (If you don't know what those are, you lay down flat with your arms above your head and then bring your legs up and at the same time try to touch your toes, making a V shape with your body, you don't have to hold it, just make the shape.)

I was told that you should work out your stomach the same as you would your legs, or any other part of your body.. Try to do a combination of different sit ups, and use ab machines at the gym to break up the routine. If you want to make it happen in two weeks, the only way to make it work is to cut out breads, and salt.. Drink a lot of water and eat raw veggies and protein, fish or chicken breast.. It will make a dramatic difference and you will feel so much better..... WOW now I feel like going to the gym myself...... THANKS! And also do at least 50 min. of cardio,, and they are right you can't spot reduce but don't get discouraged this will HELP...........

if you do situps you work your muscles but not necacarilly lose the fat that might be covering that 6 pack you actually should do some jogging to lose the fat and sit ups to gain the muscle this is the quickest way that I konw to get results, but I think I am using the word quick a little loosely, it takes time but dont let your self go becouse the bigger your stomach gets the harder it will be when your older!

There is no such thing as "spot reduction".....sit ups will strengthen your ab muscles but not melt the fat surrounding them. Also, I wouldnt do sit ups every day--give 1-2 days in between workouts so the muscles can heal and grow larger. Regular dieting and exercise will melt some of the fat away from the muscle revealing more definition.

i tightened the muscles in my stomach and flattened it by doing two sets of 30 a night....Do more then just sit ups though, cut down on sugary and fatty foods, run up and down stairs every bit counts.
