Yes, my best friend is a man and it is a platonic relationship. It is hard when either of you is dating or married to someone else because their spouse might not understand this type of a friendship; however, It is definitely possible.

Yep, my best friend is a guy...weve known each other since we were 10 and we have NEVER been interested in each other in a sexual or romantic way.
I love him to bits, I adore the fact that he never judges me, doesnt ***** and complain like most girls do, Lol, and he is always there to give me sound, sensible advice or advice from a male perspective.
Im getting married in 10 months, and rather than having all bridesmaids, Im having 2 bridesmaids, and my "bridemaster", Lol!!! Couldnt fathom my special day without my best friend as part of it.

i have a lot of platonic friendships with guys but it's only because i choose for it to be that way. if i were to say let's do it, they would.

Of course, why not. I have had many male friends, just friends. and some of them were my best friends. Not everyone is looking to hop into bed with everyone and genuinely like each other just as friends. Good luck...~:~
