The most honest position is the one YOU personally believe in.. it isn`t about honesty or dishonesty. We all have a spiritual journey to take and we go by different routes. It is OK to believe in whatever you want to..

Not necessarily.
I like to make an analogy with a question. Choose a street corner you've never seen, that you know nothing about. Do you believe there is a gas station on that corner?
Now, at the time of asking this question, the agnostic position is the most honest position. However, suppose that your friend tells you that there is a gas station there. The most honest position has changed (if you trust your friend). Suppose you get a satellite photograph of the place which clearly shows four buildings at the corner, and none of them are gas stations. The most honest position has changed again (if you trust the source of the photo).
When you have no evidence, the agnostic position is the one to take. However, once evidence starts coming in - even indirect evidence like the absence of an expected observation (in the example, the image of a gas station on the satellite photo) - the agnostic position should be abandoned.

Agnosticism is defined as the claim that fundemental knowlege is impossible. Which may well be true. But I don't claim that. How would I know such a thing.
Agnosticism is not an alternative to atheism or theism. One either believes in a god (theism) or one doesn't (atheism ) there is no third possibility.
Agnosticism isn't even about belief at all. It is about the impossibility of knowlege.
In the real world we never know anything at all with 100% certitude ( at least that is what I believe). That is why the defintion of agnostic as one who does not know whether or not there is a god is so useless. According to that definition everyone is an agnostic. I prefer the more traditional philosophical defintion I gave.
Also note that an athiest does not have to make a claim that gods do not exist. To be an atheist it is sufficient not to claim they do exist.

You probably did a book report on George Washington, or some thing similar, right? Walk by faith not by sight. I know you have seen pictures of old George as well as pictures of Jesus. They are both fixtures in history books. Now I KNOW you have never SEEN George Washington either, so would the most honest position to take be: Ag-nofirstpresidentic? You tell me!!!

Jesus Christ said He is the Truth the Way and the Life and no one comes to the Father but by Him. It is a cop out to not study the word of God and think it is OK to just live anyway you want to.The Word of God proves itself over and over in daily life situations its your job to open your eyes and ears. It would definitely be a sad day for anyone to take an agnostic view and when you have to face the Father on judgment day and have no excuses then for why you didn't even give His Son A chance in your life. Yes there is alot of view's out there but there is only one way and that is Jesus Christ. ACTS 2:38 read before it is to late to make a sensible decision

For me, its the most honest position to have, but its not the best. If you lived your life like there is a God, and then you died and there is no God, there's no big deal cuz you're already dead by then. But if you lived your life like there is no God, and you died and there IS a God, then you're in a lot of trouble.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought an agnostic doubts there is a god...but doesn't go so far as to preach their position.

I have more respect for agnostics than atheists. Trying to prove there is no God at all is like trying to prove that everything doesn't exist.

It is only the most honest position to have if you truly believe it. Some think that it is o.k. to believe whatever you want to believe. I do not agree. In all matters, there is only one truth. The truth is not always convenient, but it is always the truth. To say that you believe something when you really don't believe it is to deceive. To deceive is to confuse. Who wants to be the author of confusion? Not me.

Agnosticism is simply this: You know in your mind that God doesn't exist. However, you feel in your heart that he does. Therefore, you make the logical conclusion that he may or may not exist, because you can't force yourself to believe that there is no God. That simple.
