You'll probably be okay, but once a day isn't the best thing for your body. Talk to a nutritionist to see what I mean. Your body requires a certain amount of fuel through the day and vitamins can't give all you need.

You're hurting your metabolism if you do that, as another person on here said. It slows it down and if you're a woman you shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories a day -- that's the healthy minimum standard of caloric intake.
Eventually your metabolism will backfire on you and if you keep doing it your body will assume you are starving and it will be difficult for you to continue to lose weight without starving your body even more.
Most people starve off their weight and it's just not a good idea. You're be much healthier if you exercise it off 30-45 min. a day and eat balanced meals. Food gets a bad rep with society, but food isn't a big problem if you eating properly. I'm also working on losing weight and spent years fighting the battle of the bulge. However, now after years of trying to figure out what was right in front of me. I don't even calorie count and I am losing weight. I eat my 3-5 servings of veggies, 2-4 servings of fruits each day and other recommended food groups and I bake nice healthy desserts like banana nut bread and have one or two slices throughout my day. I would recommend not getting too worried about the quantity of food you eat. Of course you should not overeat but concentrate more on eating balanced meals and then ridding yourself of the calories you ate by exercising. Outtake versus intake on a physical standard.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

No, your body needs more calories than that to function. That's why it's called a 2000 calorie diet. Calories are converted into energy to keep us going, the calories you don't use turn to fat. So it's ok to eat small meals but not once a day, you might as well starve yourself. It is better to eat several small meals throughout the day-and no midnight snacks-than to eat one big one because you don't use the calories fast enough. Eat good healthy mealS and exercise, you will still lose weight but will feel more energetic and won't have future problems.

Your body burns through food, that is how you lose weight. However, if you do not eat enough, your body will not have to metabolise anything, and you will just gain weight. It is the best to eat two small meals a day plus one larger one, then exersize for an hour or more. That is the best possible way to lose weight.

NO! When you eat once a day your body goes into starvation mode and tries to hoard any fat it can because it doesn't know when you'll eat again.
Instead of eating once a day try eating 4 to 6 small meals. This will prevent starvation mode from kicking in and give your metabolism a jump start.

No! A doctor told me that when your stomach growls, then for the next 24 hours, anything you eat will turn to fat. Just cut down your servings each meal. But you do want to eat 3 times a day. Maybe 2 if you want to try that, but I wouldn't!
