If you put too many of a species of an animal in too small a space, they will eventually fight amongst themselves. Man is the only animal that does this to itself on purpose.

Because spending money on weapons IS spending money on conservation.
Ask yourself this, if the US spent no money at all on weapons and were to be invaded by China or Russia do you think that would increase or decrease the ecological state of the US?
If you really believe it would lead to an increase can you explain why that would be, given the abysmal ecological record so f those two countries in recent decades?
If you believe that it would lead to a decrease then why do you somehow think that spending money on weapons isn’t of conservation value?
I’m assuming from the tone of your question that you are about 16 years old and still seeing things in terms of black and white. Don’t worry, that will fade with age and you will begin to appreciate the complex interrelationships found in the real world.

because lots of people can make money on weapons. All we can do with conservation iw make the world a better place. tell me, what do greedy governments want more?

It is called progress. I say concrete the planet, Nuke the Iranians, and side drill for oil. When gas gets to 15 cents a gallon, we've done something.

because there are people out there who will fly planes in buildings, strap bombs on their sons and daughters and send them to a group of soilders who are there to protect the rights of innocent people. how can you spend money on conservation?? conserving is something you do, you can't spend money on it.

Namely religion causes this problem. Conflicts caused by different view points on how "A god" wants the general populous to feel and act causes conflicts with others with different view points on how their god wants them to act and feel. Soon a justification is made to perform a cleansing of the unholy in many of its manifestations of "usually" the thought and guidance of one man.

Because it is run by republicans who worry about war and other countries. I mean why are we in Iraq? Did they say they are trying to restore some sort of government or something? Honestly.. worry about your own damn country and get us some damn medical insurance!!! Worry about the Americans!

add up all of the salaries of all the congressmen, senate, all of the state and local government officials who spend all day talking about how to spend our money, then re evaulate the equaision.
