The best way to meet someone is to not try.
I know of women who go to baseball games even thought they hate baseball just to meet guys. That is so wrong. If you want to meet the perfect guy, you need to be at the places where you want to be. If you like the ballet, you probably won't find him at a baseball game. You'll find a guy who likes ballet at the ballet.
If you like art, you'll find the guy who likes art at a gallery.
If you like cross-country biking, you'll find this guy in a cross-country biking group.
Whenever you try to find a guy, you'll dismiss negative traits and compromise just to get a guy, any guy. When you don't try, the right guy just comes along.
Also, some people say to change your look. Another bad idea because then you attract people who are interested in the person you try to be who isn't you.

Change your hairstyle every three days for fifteen days. That's five different hair styles. Rest three days and repeat.
