No, I enjoy reading about their history and culture. I find reading about their petty tyrant dictators amusing (they rise and fall:they come and go.) Why can't these people form some type of governments that truely represent the people and is not repressive, i.e., democracies. In defense of Mexico they have had a somewhat stable government since their "revolution" of 1910. They finally elected a president that was not PRI. Fox has really done nothing to improve Mexico despite all the retoric following his election. I suppose the Mexican congress is still PRI majority. Who knows? ( I need to look that up sometime.)
Anyway, I digress. I have nothing against Hispanics in Latin America but when they enter "the colossus to the north," then the problems begin. Latin America, KEEP YOR PEOPLE.

How many posted here have to live with them. I have lived in the same area for over 20 years. Everything was peaceful until many Hispanics moved in. Now there is loud music day and night, theft, trash in the street, each home they live in has way too many cars that overfill the street, the kids are running rampant causing trouble, police are called in the area constantly, and they act like we should not be here. This man has every right to be upset. The area that I live in is/was a nice part of town. The media is lying when they say that most Americans have nothing against illegal aliens.

So what's your point? We are here now and believe me, there's not a thing you can do about it. My suggestion to you is stop trying to learn about our governments and history and try to learn about our cultures, get to know us, and then maybe you wouldn't be so judgemental and perhaps you will see that we (you and me) have a lot more in common than you think. Do you forget that Hispanics have fougth bravely to defend this country in all the wars? How come when I was an illegal immigrant and in High School I had to register for Selective Service just like any citizen, however never asked nor received any of the benefits of one?
I thank this country for a lot of things but will not apologize for who I really am:Hispanic/Latin American.

This great nation of ours called USA is built under God and by immigrants of England that came over to rule land that did not belong to them, but to the Native Indians. So can you say that the problem begins when the immigrants come to the north. I know that things start growing because of those immigrants that come from the south. They built many thing, you probably have been in buildings that have been built by immigrants. You eat their fruit and vegetables which i bet you eat. So tell me are you willing to start construction work and do some farmer work as well?

I agree with you, i believe many of us (I am Mexican citizen, and lives in Mexico) would love to keep our people in our country.

I love my country, and it's sad that there has not been the rigth lead to make us grow enougth to let the people stay, i believe that if most of them would find a good job to have a life, raise their children they would stay.

I will answer you, yes, our contress is still PRI majority, and it will keep that way after this elections, but the problem is not only with the PRI, nowaday it's a big dificult to make all our parties to work togheter, they are just looking in diferent directions, i guess.

I still believe, and i am trying to make me hear, that the answer is us, the citizen, we have to learn how to make our country grow with our work, with our hands, and with our voices, but really listening to what the politicians are saying, and making a big citizen participation. That's the only way we have to make things better. But i can tell you it will take a while.

In the meantime, the USA, should realize it self that there is the need of the labor, and that there should exists better ways to make the immigrations in a better way, so you can know who is entering and working in your lands, as well, as you can make it more secure.

I believe that is ok that you expect them to learn english, and i believe that is all of your rigth to say who should stay and who shouldn't. I believe you have to ask from them to live according to your rules.

But you have to be aware of the demand and offer, you offer the job, in Mexico we demmand that job. You will have soon lots of people retiring, we have the young people who can help your economy to keep working in the same way as it is now.

We are neighbors, we should find the way to make this relation more secure for both.

Come on now, be for real. First, you say that you love reading about their culture, and then you say that they don't need to be here.
