I'm a first soprano, and whenever I need to find a pop song for a concert or talent show or whatever, I have to end up either doing a Broadway song or doing a song that's too low for me. Does anybody know of pop singers that are actually sopranos?

You could take a classical peice and make it pop. Instead of having a piano thump the accompaniment out use an accustic guitar and add a drum line. Then, take the aria and make it your own. Literally. Play around with it until you like it and forget about remaining faithful to the composer.
I recommend listening to a recording or three from The East Village Opera Compnay, they totally rock the classical world! I know you can find them on iTunes, but I'm not sure about anywhere else. Dido's Lament, or When I am Laid in Earth, is awesome! I think if you love classical and pop you'll ADORE this CD and it will give you some good ideas of what you'd like to do!
