I believe that women want from a relationship is loyalty, friendship and sex because once the friendship is build with loyalty and kindness then the relationship can possible turn to a love relationship. Money can play a small part in the relationship when both partners are showing their feelings towards each other with gifts and supporting their earnings. Without the affection of love and sex, then the relationship may not stay strong too long.

I think if people in relationships would show more of their feelings and love towards each other, then money shouldn't count so much in a relationship because love may help solve the problems surrounding in the relationship.

Women are different, like men are different. But I guess all people want loyalty and friendship from their partners, support and the ability to be yourself. For me communication is the most important thing in all relationships, cause there is absolutely no way of guessing what another person really thinks and feels. So in other words, just ask and listen ;) I think money and love has absolutely nothing to do with each other! All women should be able to earn their own money in case things don't work out anyway, be realistic! woman, Norwegian, 30 years :) Good luck on your paper!

Personally I want love, fidelity, loyalty, friendship, trust, security, sex(counts a little at least, not most important). Money doesn't matter much, I would rather be poor and have true love than rich and not have love in my life. Love makes you richer than any amount of money.

It depends.

When you're young, say 18-27, girls want to have good fun-partying, sex, etc. Most guys that age are also into parties, sex, and beautiful girlfriends, no?

After that age, your financial status become pretty important. But most young guys don't have that kind of money, except for promising careers. In lieu of money, most sane women would gladly accept signs of intelligence, sound judgement and a sense of humor as collateral. Cheer up-money's not everything.
