Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!! As well beauty is only skin deep!!! I don't know who said this originally but I can guarantee it was an ugly person. My guess is they feel sorry for them or they're trying to win a bet or perhaps they are masochists.
No human being looks at another and says
"Wow what a great sense of humour, gotta have that"
or
"Wow look at his/her faith in God, how attractive"
or
"Look at the goodness of his/her heart, that's the one I want"
Humans are visceral and physical attractiveness is initially how we judge others. Stop the bull **** kids

I can think of three answers right now...probably more later...
1. The cute person has no competition.
2. Opposites attract
3. The real reason... You see something that most of us don't see and I think you're worried about the wrong thing.

I don't really go on looks for me it a sense of humor that attracts me to a guy. A lot of people tell me I could do a lot better, even his friends tell him that I should be dating a model, but to me that doesn't matter all that matters is that I feel so incredible when I am with him and that I find him attractive.
