I started in High School when I started drinking and having sex. It feels good to smoke after both. I get light-headed from the cig, and that adds to the pleasure.

Why do I still smoke? Because my boyfriend does, because I'm addicted to the "lightheadedness," and because I need to keep my hands busy at all times...which means I don't smoke much, but when I'm in the car I always have one.

I guess when you are around 12 or 13 years old and some of your other friends are trying it or doing it, you just want to experience what it's like. I have quit several times (both times when I was pregnant). As I am now in my 40's.... based on my own experience, I know cigarettes do curb your appetitte, because when I did stop, I snacked on alot junk..

Boredom. If I am doing something else...such as answering questions on Yahoo! Answers, or reading, etc I can go for hours without smoking. Weird, I know, but no, I do not know why I don't just quit.
