The same way that you believe it when someone tells you that they love you. You cant acutally see love, but you have faith and trust, and through actions...even tho God absolutely does not have to show us in actions,....he does. He has obviously blessed you if you have the ablity to ask these questions, and if you have a computer and if you are able to ask these questions....there are many times that you will feel distant...but he is ALWAYS there

I know that the Goddess exists, and I believe in Her, because she takes care of me, and I see Her power and works when I wake up in the morning and see myself, and even more so when I go outside and see all the beauty in nature.

Most of all, I can believe in the Goddess when I am at the ocean and I look out over the waves, and it is almost like I can see Her. She is everything.

I can't see Pluto either, but I believe its there. I haven't seen Europe or the North Pole, but I believe they are there. I can't see the wind, or tons of stars at night when I am in a big city, but I beleive they are there. Not seeing other things doesn't make you think they don't exist, does it?

I presume you are speaking of God. I may not see him physically, but I do see his working in my life and the fact that I haven't yet seen Him certainly doesn't mean He doesn't exist.

Like this... say you live in one country and your most closest bud lives in another country... you can't see or touch them... but you know they're somewhere right? How? Communication, inspiring stories or events told to each other and even dull day to day stuff which one might miss of the other...

same with God or other things hoped for but not seen

the central feature of creation is: awareness.

awareness is like a magnet that draws everything to it.

Our yearning, our efforts on the spiritual path, our desire for knowledge, and our fascination with finding ultimate truth are responses to the undeniable attraction of this magnet.

"how can I believe in someone i can not see?"

love operates the same way.
love is based is based on yearning for completion:

to be whole
to be in harmony
to be connected
to be free

how can i keep from believing?

The same as one would believe in someone close to them who has passed away. You no longer see them, but you know.

Ask a blind man how he believes that other people exist.

He will tell you that he hears them when he listens. He feels them when they touch him.

He does not rely on sight alone to tell him that he is not the only person on earth. We must rely on faith, yes, but we must also listen for the still small voice that calls us and lets us know that God is there.

I believe in Someone I can feel, and sense their presence, love, peace, and power. I believe in Someone who helps me through my day, and keeps me safe. Seeing isnt everything.
