Every guy picks up a scent about a women when there are in the process of having sex. As do women. Whether it is shampoo smell, or the smell of a shirt, or even the smell of breath. But if you are saying you like the scent of smelly things before sex, that is a little odd.

And to answer your question. YES. Some people become excited by smells that others consider gross.
To be honest, the sex act itself is also quite gross when you really think about.
