Since Hell doesn't exist, it's a man-made concept, not God's, then no.

Suicide, a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Well, it is murder. What do you think the punishment will be? But hell???? hell is death and the grave. Men are promised to be resurrected-free from the permanency of death. Whether that person is resurrected is in the judgment and mercy of God who will take into effect, I am sure, all the conditions surrounding the emotion that the person was feeling and why. BUT, the commandment is there not to commit murder. I don't think it is worth the risk for a person to consider death. The evil one, Satan wants all humans to lose the opportunity to live forever. He is the only won that wins when a person commits suicide and there are many losers, but the biggest loser is the person who does it. Life will go on without the person but think of all the baseball games , chocolate sundaes, movies, songs, Internet chat etc they will miss. And whatever the person is feeling will pass, and pass faster if they talk with their best friend about there feelings. It is worth the extra time to try and get through whatever the problem is.

Do you go to hell when committing suicide? That is a tough question to answer but, I would say that if by reading the ten commandments you aren't convince about your answer I would guess that you are an unbeliever of God's word. I don't profess that I am perfect because nobody is a perfect individual. We all try to do good to humanity but, sometimes as, humans, we make mistakes. I am 100%convince that if you take your own life you are not going to the kingdom of heaven, but would be in limbo.

Well if you really believe that there is a hell in the christian sense then you would do to consider the fact that god planned for you to commit suicide. If he created you and your life then he also created your death, no matter how it comes to pass. I'm not saying you should by the way, life is way better than death no matter how you look at it, but how could a god that created you condemn you to hell like that?

I know you don't want Christians to answer but I'm going to give you my opinion anyway.I'm not sure if you go to Hell or not but I don't think you would commit suicide if your faith was as strong as it should be you would know that God would pull you out of whatever situation it is.The Lord would not give you more than you can bare.
If you don't believe in God or the bible then why do you believe there's a Hell?
God Bless.

The only real answer I have found is that those who take their own lives will be "without God" forever. I'm not sure if it means hell or not, but it probably does. In some places in Europe, the suicide victims are buried OUTSIDE the graveyard, seperated by a fence or other physical barrier.

I am a Celtic Wiccian, and therefore do not believe in hell, but rather reincarnation, and karma.

I believe that suiside is a horriable thing to do, and it inflicts a lot of pain on the people who care about you, and that you will be punished for it in the future, hopefully so that you will learn a lesson and learn to appriciate life.

I think that suiside is very wrong, and that if you are thinking about it, please get help. I know how painful things can get (I tried to kill myself 3 times when I was in high school) but please dont hurt the world by removing yourself from it.

I don't thinks so but i do think it goes against some of the bibles principles because you wouldnt be on earth doing works for God.
I don't think that committing suicide nescessarily sends you to hell, but it may be considered sinful or bad due to your rejection of god's gift of life. I hope this helped, its really rather deep.

The Holy Bible only that you MAY, look at the word may.

I think that if you are crazy and mental unstable and really don't know it wrong, is where the MAY come in..

In most cases YES because if you can think about suicide, then you can think enough to know not to do it..

I don't believe that you will go to hell if you are saved. If you are a Christian, you have already been given salvation...but if you are not a Christian, I am scared for you. Hell is a scary place.

I hope you're not serious here...but I was going to say, if you're not serious, become a Pagan. Then you'd be a lot happier, less likely to consider suicide and realize you are God and are responsible for everything that happens as well as having the power to make your life happy.
