There are lots of support groups in many communities and over the internet that help people who have lost pets cope with there feelings and move on. Surround yourself with people who understand what you're going through, not the people who say, Oh, buck up, it was just an animal, cause I'm sorry, but that always makes it worse for me. Sorry about your kitty and feel better soon. =)

Itis normal to mourn the loss of a pet, just as you would someone dear to you. Write down your thoughts to your cat in a journal or something like that. Tell him how much you loved him and miss him. Picture him playing healthy and happy at the rainbow bridge. Think about getting another pet, maybe a dog this time, not to take the place of the cat you lost, but to help fill the empty space left behind.

I feel so sorry for you. You might want to get another cat to replace ol' Mr.Sniffles. I had a dog which had a sad ending but I got another dog of the same ough breed all though I am not very satisfied.

I lost my cat of 16 yrs last September. Sometimes I see her out the corner of my eye, and I've had dreams about her. You don't get over it. I've never replaced her. She was my 1 and only "Baby", she was the runt of the litter.

hey its human to morn over something or someone we love and lose....it will get better...why dont u get yourself another pet...it wont take the place of the lost pet..but it will fill a void...and you will begin to love it as much....and you will still have your memories of your other pet..i have had many..each one put a bright spot in my life and in my heart....i miss them all...there are so many out there that need a good loving home....it would be nice to see one get one....hope u can recover...life is short....and precious....all life....animals. included....
