Jeg elsker deg ----> Norwegian Jag älskar dig -----> Swedish Edit: I forgot to say that Scandinavian pronunciation regulations imply those terms sound NOTHING like how they're spelled to a local English speaker (regardless that any Scandinavian will inform you that a "g" on the finish of a phrase is silent and "sk" and a entire lot of alternative combinations make a "sh" sound. See what I imply?). You are not able to "sound them out" utilising English-language sounds, in different phrases.
