NO!!!!!! The Jehovah's Witnesses' Views on Death, Ghosts, and Spirits are:

Definition of Death: The ceasing of all functions of life. After breathing, heartbeat, and brain activity stop, the life-force gradually ceases to function in body cells. Death is the opposite of life.

Genesis 2:17: Jehovah warned Adam against disobedience, which would lead to death.
Ezekiel 18:31: God warned Israel against conduct that would lead even to premature death for them.
John 3:16, 36: In time he sent his Son to die on behalf of mankind so that those who would put faith in this provision might enjoy everlasting life.

Definition of Spirits and Ghosts: The Hebrew word RU'ACH and the Greek PNEU'MA, which are often translated "spirit," have a number of meanings. All of them refer to that which is invisible to human sight and which gives evidence of force in motion. The Hebrew and Greek words are used with reference to
(1) wind,
(2) the active life-force in earthly creatures,
(3) the impelling force that issues from a person's figurative heart and that causes them to say and do things in a certain way,
(4) inspired utterances originating with an invisible source,
(5) spirit persons, and
(6) God's active force, or holy spirit.
Several of these usages are here discussed in relation to topics that may arise in the field ministry.

A comparison of Bible texts that refer to the holy spirit shows that it is spoken of as 'filling' people; they can be 'baptized' with it; and they can be "anointed" with it. (Luke 1:41; Matthew 3:11; Acts 10:38) None of these expressions would be appropriate if the holy spirit were a person.

I'm Catholic, I go to church, I pray and believe in God and I don't take this question lightly; however, in all honesty, one day when I was 19 while I was visiting a friend's house i was taking a nap in a spare bedroom while everyone else was at a graduation ceremony. I woke to the sound of the TV going on in the next room then footsteps came down the hall and the door to the bedroom I was in opened, stayed open for 10 or so seconds, and closed by itself as if by some unseen person then I heard footsteps going down an empty hall. I was petrified. There was no one else in the house but me. I waited in the bedroom, almost in hysterics, until my friend and his mom got home and told them what had happened. Then they told me that my friends' Grandmother had died in that very room just weeks before and that they too had been experiencing things moving and noises. We think it is because they kept her cremated ashes in the house so my friend's mom scattered the ashes in the Atlantic ocean down in Florida and the disturbances stopped. It freaked me out for life. I believe in Ghosts. I just don't know what Ghosts are.

I do believe in "ghosts". I have seen things that cannot be explained or disproved. I'm not sure what "ghosts" are or why they exist, but I do believe. I've never seen one, only things that I have seen with my eyes. Mist can't always be explained away.
You need to watch, "A Haunting" or "Ghost Hunters" on the sci-fi channel. It may help to make up your mind.

That was a very scary video to see! Yet, I think that's a perfectly alive human being playing a ghost. So, no. I don't believe in ghosts. They are, just like god, a human creation made up to explain what we people haven't been able yet to explain.
