I was not aware the world hates him. Christianity is the most followed relegion. And I know he gets love from Muslims as well.

Satan tries to deceive as many as possible; thats his job, to get as many on his side as he can before armagedon. He twists peoples minds to hate Jesus and resent him.
For they are not the enemy, but prisoners of the enemy.
