never hit your cat even on the nose -- they will connect your hand with pain, and their bones are way too tiny for a human to be hitting. Give them a toy when they start biting to redirect their interest. You can also turn them on their back and hold them until they drop their paws. also wherever you are petting her could be uncomfortable for her -- ask your vet about this one.

First do not ever chew your cat again....he merely would not keep in mind that so it really is merciless. because you've let it bypass this lengthy with out preventing it, that's going to be harder to end him now.....i understand, we had a similar situation with one of our cats. you want to perservere and be agency with him. once you puppy him if he starts off biting, proper this second end petting him and say "NO, do not chew!" and turn your again on him. Wait a couple of minutes and attempt to puppy him again, and repeat "NO, do not chew" and tuen your again on him each and anytime he bites. it really is probable to take numerous weeks in the previous he receives the hint and frequently he will nevertheless chew.....our cat does at the same time as she receives VERY playful....even after 4 years!

they have a product called bitter apple (or sour apple, something like that) at pet supply stores. you can apply this to your hands. when she bites you, she won't like the taste and this should curb the biting. alternatively, i would try putting on a scented hand lotion; the taste should turn her off.
i don't suggest hitting or spraying because then she'll just learn to not trust you.
