If you were to reduce your calorie intake by 100 calories a day you could lose weight. For example you swap a coke a day with water. There are various reasons why people lose weight. Some include sickness, stress, worms even. Some explained and others can't be. If you aren't sleeping enough that can also assist with weight loss. So the answer is yes, a person can lose weight without even trying.

Depends on what you mean by "trying." You may be eating the right stuff and getting enough of a workout without knowing it. As long as your burning more calories than you're taking in, you'll stay at a steady weight or even lose weight. Also, if you do a lot of "working out" in your regular routine (whether you realize it or not - even washing dishes can burn calories), then it is possible to burn calories as you rest as well.

Just don't become bulemic or anorexic. Your body is not tuned to handle such abuse and will deteriorate quickly.

definitely can lose weight without trying. i'm a prime example. i am young and i dont weigh that much. maybe between 125 - 130 and my weigh tends to change even when i eat everything in a menu ( slight overexxageration, but you get my point ) i either lose it one week or gain extra the next. unfortunately now i only check my weight when it's time to get a physical. as long as the person knows that they're not losing weight that they, healthwise, should be gaining..... then, the person is fine. it's not bad at all.

Yes! You can be on a diet and stop all these fat foods such as pizza, ice-cream and french fries. But you have to eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Also there is a yogurt called Yoplait. If you eat it, you will lose weight. Now, remember just because you're on a diet dosent mean you dont eat. Eat healthy. And you should always try, never be lazy if you are just sitting on the couch watching tv, you can start doing excersizes. And remember to drink plenty of water. That always helps.

HOPE I HELPED!!!

yes. If you go through depression, break up, etc. you can lose 10-25 lbs. in a few weeks not wanting to eat only drink, and yes it's a bad thing, during summer also you can lose weight hot, sweating, losing weight, thyroid gland can also make you lose weight. You might want to see a doctor if you do start losing too much weight. You can damage your heart and organs by losing too much too fast.

Yes. Not necessarily. If that person is at an age where they are grow rapidly then it is not a bad thing. But if that person is an adult, it might not be good. If that person is losing weight at an unnatural rate then it's probably not good. If this is happening to you, you should see your doctor. But you don't have to take my advice, I'm just a teenager. Hope this helps! E-mail me if it does!

yes! Everyone's body has a certain size that it is supposed to be. If you eat the same that you always do, you will level out eventually. I haven't even tried to loose weight since my last pregnancy, and it has just fell off, without stress or anything...the only time that it would reallly be bad is if you loose so much weight ( or way to fast) that your body can hardly even function. That could be from really bad stress or you could be really sick and not even know it (ie cancer).

Yes a person can do that. I know cuz it's happened to me :( I'm a very petite girl weighing 114 lbs... approx. The most I've ever weighed was 125 I believe. I think that that's a healthy weight for me. I lost weight by skipping meals & not easy much. I want to GAIN weight. I've even been eating fatty foods like pizza. It doesn't seem to help tho :( A teacher of mine used to eat peanut butter & lard sandwiches to gain weight... ewwwwww !!!!!!! I'm not THAT desperate to gain weight !!! Re: your Q, yes, it's a bad thing in my case... I'm underweight :(

If this is happening to you, then maybe you have an illness. If you are losing weight and have not changed your eating or exercise habits, then you may want to see a Dr. Perhaps you are under stress and just not eating or having an apetite as before. Are you just not hungry? This can happen. When you are hungry then eat good nutritious food. Take care.
