I was raised Catholic my whole entire life until 11 years ago after my mother suddenly passed away. I wanted to get my life in order so I met with the Catholic priest and as soon as I told him that I had 2 step children he stopped me. I'm not married to a Catholic and didn't get married in the church and he said that I couldn't take communion and that my husband had to get an anullment. Really broke my heart. They keep these priests that molest little boys and just move them to another church.! That's okay? But me not being married to Catholic isn't okay?! Sad huh? So to answer your question, no!

Not being a Catholic doesn't make you a bad person. What is does mean is that you should be thinking about embracing Catholicism in the interest of becoming a better person.
What is so confusing about your parents believing in the Church and going to mass? Is mass too tough for you; unable to devote one hour of your time to God once per week?

So, you believe in God. It does not necessarily mean that you should follow all the rituals your religion prescribes or even go to church. If you wholeheartedly believe that there is God and he can hear you, then you can pray to him anywhere anytime without even saying words aloud. Churches are nothing more than buildings constructed by humans. Why then going to church should be any different than praying in the middle of the field? If God really exists, I don't think he cares where you honor him or even if you pray at all, as long as you stay true to him.

It is good that you do not believe in the Catholic way. Get yourself an Authorized King James Versing of the Bible and STUDY it like there is no tomorrow, because there are not too many of them left. I can give you help if you would like. I am a lay preacher. I am also a Sabbatarian, ( I worship God on His Day, the Seventh-day Sabbath).

Not at all. I was raised Catholic until I converted to Wicca, and even then I didn't believe in the church.

If the Catholic Church has done one quarter as much for your soul, as the Catholic school has achieved thus far in your education; both should be disavowed.

Everyone reaches the point in their life where you question everything including God and the Church.
This is part of growing up, mentally and spiritually. Finding what faith is yours.
Keep searching, Ask questions. Seek answers.
Your questions should strengthen your relationship with God, not hurt it.
With love and prayers in Christ.

If you Belive in God and have Faith then you have nothing to worry about. You might want to try to reasearch other religions to see if annother one might fit you better.
