I am so sorry that you're going through a rough patch.
You know, God is not punishing you any more than God is punishing anyone else. The Christians call it a 'cursed world'. In Asia it's called a 'degenerate age'. The world stinks. It always has, and if it's punishing you now, you're not alone.
The truth is, Christians do not believe that God is offering us an easy better life here on Earth in exchange for faith or deeds. This isn't a punishment from God. God may be seeking to reach out to you through your friends, family, or church.
Is there anything we can do to help you in any way?

you know there are a lot of reasons why we feel like we're being punished by God. And usually the most simplest answer is the the right one. Maybe God isn't finished punishing you yet, or maybe these are consequences from other sins that you forgot about or didn't even realize were sins. Or God could be putting you through a time or trial so you can learn to depend on Him for comfort and strength.

God is not punishing you. The fact is that in life bad things happen to good people and there isn't always a good explaination for it. God takes care of his own. Life is all about balance, for every bad thing that happens, a good thing will come a long to balance it out. Look at it this way, If nothing but bad has been happening to you lately, you have a whole lot of good things to look forward to. You have to trust that God has a plan for your life and he is watching out for you. Never lose hope, Because things will always get better. There have been times of great sadness in my life, but there have also been times that have been so awesome that i will never forget, and am so thankful for.
You have to look for the right things in your life to pursue. Perhaps certain things you have wanted to "work out" would not fit in the plan of your life. Have patience, and trust that your time will come, and you will receive what ever it is you are searching for. And remember what you want may not be exactly what you will get, but chances are, what you do get will be better than you could have ever imagioned. Be prepared to ask for what you want, over and over and over again. If you ask you shall receive.

You are being tested...in faith and strength of will. Many times in my life I have had many residual effects from my past life encounters. Lessons to learn from and push ahead God will always test you But the choice is yours on how you choose to take it. Either you could stand by and complain about how horrible things are or you can become proactive and positive. Taking the forward thinking steps to your future. Learn from the past. And always remember God never gives us more than we can handle. Take it to him in prayer the answers are there. My life has had many of those same experience you speak of and sometimes we have things from our past jump out and bite us when we least expect it. But after all we are all human sinners and we cannot change that. There will always be low times in our life, Be thankful for what you have been given, life. Walk in the path of God and he will give you everything you need. and in the end we will walk with God in heaven. No more pain or suffering only peace. I hope I've helped at least a little anyway. God Bless You! CJ

We are world in transition. The world has been ruled by religion and hasn't heard from God in 2000 years. What you are feeling is the negativity of christianity, always condemning people for being human. Karma who is natural justice will be taking over. It's not God who is punishing it's just the last ditch efforts of christianity in the spirit you are feeling. keep the positive hope going, Karma is winning.

TRY a different approach by first NOT FEELING that way.
Perhaps your patience is being tested. Ever thought of it that way?
And if you claim that "nothing ever works" for you, could it also be that you are now "being guided" in that your choices may have been the wrong ones anyway??
Think about that a bit and pray for answers. Stay on course and keep the faith...
Peace be with you!

If it's not working out for you and you are truly seeking God to show you the path, then you are on the wrong path!
Also, please hang in there for the long haul ... sometimes evil comes against us just as we are getting ourselves in shape and wants to knock us down, like always. Keep pushing, keep pressing in, and one day all of this will seem dumb to you. Seriously, I'm saying that in a loving way, as we mature in Christ we find that the things we did "back then" when we were but babes in the Word seem sometimes even silly when we look back.
I promise this; I blush almost daily at how goofy I was back then lol.

God does not continually punish us for a mistake we have made. If we admit our mistake and are genuinely repentant, then God forgives, and it's as if it never happened. Satan, however, is quick to constantly throw past mistakes in our faces, hoping we will develop an attitude that we can never get past it and revert to our old sinful ways. If we seek God's help daily, our situation might not noticably improve, but our attitudes certainly will. We are told to persevere and we will eventually recieve our rewards.

Please don't assume you're being punished. Look at Job. He was the most righteous man of his time, but God allowed him to lose everything. Look at Joseph. Boastful, but did that warrant being sold as a slave and to have his father told that his favorite son was dead, then later thrown in prison on trumped-up charges? They were ran through the mill, but look at the blessings in their lives afterward. I've been where you are, too. Hang in there.
