JUST DO IT. Quit procrastinating and DO IT. When the thought crosses your mind to do it, stop and do it. Don't let yourself get to the thought, "I'll do it later." Also, make sure you're drinking enough water and listen to your favorite music while you work out. That always motivates me. And the thought "I'm going to get rid of this FAT!" always pushes me harder.
Have you tried aerobics? There are so many great routines out there that will tone your legs and help you lose weight. Most gyms offer it.

I see how you feel, I feel the same way. I need to loose ten pounds in 30 days and everyday I get up or go to bed thinking tomorrow is the day that I will start to work out, eat better. But when tomorrow comes I also make excused why I could not excersice or eat better. I am looking forward to some answeres here as well.

It's tough to feel motivated when you're in it alone.
You need one of three things:
- A trainer to push you.
- A friend/partner to work WITH
- A friend/partner/other to compete AGAINST
Any of those things will give you the boost you need.
As an added BONUS, give yourself a reward for reaching goals.
This could be a purchased item, a gift of indulgence such as a massage, or a little weekend vacation.
Granted you could do those things for yourself anyway, but the key is to withhold the pampering until you've achieved set goals.
This gives you something more than overall good health to work towards.
You will feel a greater sense of accomplishment when you have earned your "prize".

You've solved your own dilemma! "sometimes I feel that I'm not worth all that" Change your ATTITUDE and you'll change your life!
Any routine would do well for your legs if you find a way to add weight resistance on them. At the gym do both aerobic and weight training to help you loose more overall.

Although you are not looking for weight loss as a central point, I have found Weight Watcher meetings very motivating. Every week you have to weigh in and answer to yourself why you're up or down. It's a great incentive to watch the pounds come off week by week.
Weight Watchers gives you extra point if you exercise. Meetings are only 1/2 to 45 mins once a week.

You should get a training partner, someonewho always goes to the gym with you and pushes you very hard. The best exercise to tone you legs would be high repetition exercises such as the inline leg press or very light squats

Always have a set routine each week with your classes and be disciplined in all areas. Don't make excuses just go out there and embrace it. Find a trainer that motivates you, get a training session with them and ask for a weights routine and get some motivation from what they are going to tell you. Ask them all the questions you are after and make some changes. This is what I did and today I still use the same trainer & am studying to be a personal trainer. Trust me I weighed 80kgs before i started so anyone if they really want to make changes can do this.
Just for your own reference, this is what I follow:
If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.
Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories women & 1500 men
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices
All food choices need to be low fat
Don't make food a big deal and don't socialise using food
Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - multigrain sandwich w 50g tuna/lean meat & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g-150g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)
Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.
Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.
To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 women & 1800 men and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.
Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Well...how's about seeing all the progress your friends are making while you stay the same? That should motivate you! Do the stair master and light squats/high reps using the Smith Machine.Ask the weight lifters what the Smith Machine is.Those two will burn fat and tone your legs.Don't forget your calves either.Do the seated calf machine with light weight/high reps as well.

Choose your lifestyle for yourself.Basically do not be concerned with everyone else.Even though you are that is a good trait from the heart. But remember in order to be happy with yourself. You must give yourself a break and do the things that make you happy.P.s the running up and down stairs firm the buttocks and firms the legs.

looks like there's a lot of good answers on here. a lot of us go through this so don't worry. I just got back on the workout routine, what's keeping me going is focusing on something I really want to do. It may sound silly, but I love boxing, I picture myself in a boxing ring and it gets my going. That and disco music.
