God got angry and killed many people on many occassions. For example, when he flooded the earth & when killed the first born Egyptian sons. So do I kill people or turn the other cheek?

I won't turn the other cheek. I will step on someones neck. God told me I can. If I accept Jesus I'm forgiven.

Because this way your cheeks are evenly red. It would be like putting on blush on one cheek only if you didn't. It equals your coloring out.

well first off God didn't kill these people in anger he killed them because they were being disobediant to him.it hurts God when someone must die and he sure didn't enjoy it but he is God and must do what is right.and the first born Egyptian sons well they were either too young to know him so they must have gone to heaven or they would already have rejected him so it didn't really matter cause they were going to hell anyways.God flooded the earth because it was full of VERY sinful people but he saved the people who did belive in him.we must turn the other cheek even when we want to strike because it is the right thing to do and if we are Christians we must try to follow Him and His instruction.if u have anymore qustions please email me and be sure to list the subject so i know you arn't spam.i hope this has helped you out.

When God looked down at the earth, He found that everyone hated Him exept Noah and his family and all the people cared about was themselves. The world could not continue in this state so that is why I think God destoyed it. Who are we as mortals to argue with GOD"S WISDOM?

Before Christ came and died on the cross to atone for our disobedience, God brought judgment upon his people, as you have stated. But Christ is the new covenant... meaning judgment will happen on Judgment Day and not before.

Thankfully, Christians have the security of knowing their disobedience is covered by the cross.

the old testament is filled with stories of a more vengeful god, it was in the new testament with jesus that the image of god became that of a loving creator. remember, jc died for our sins so that god would forgive us, but before that people had to account for their sins much more heavily. it's commonly believed that god is a forgiving god, especially after he sent his only son to save humankind, but the stories of the old testament are just examples and reminders of god's power.

when one turns the other check,

a person has slapped you, so if you turn the other check, you are moving to allow them to back hand you.

In Hewbrew culture, if a person back handed you, it was a sign that they were equals.

So by turning the other check, you are telling them that first you beleve they are sorry enough to hit you again, but also that you beleive that they will showing everyone that you are now equal to them.

It is not always the move you and others beleive it is, by not understanding the ancient customs.

16 "But they, our forefathers, became arrogant and stiff-necked, and did not obey your commands.
17 They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,
18 even when they cast for themselves an image of a calf and said, 'This is your god, who brought you up out of Egypt,' or when they committed awful blasphemies.

You are comparing Old Testament with New Testament.

It's understandable you are so confused.

Keep seeking Truth. You will find it.

God Bless You abundantly.

OT god was not Jesus' father.

"...No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." [Matthew 11:27]

The whole Middle East knew Yahweh, so, Jesus' god was "unknown", and he (logos) makes him "known" (gnosis).
