If your last Pap Smear in the last year was negative, it is highly unlikely. You could have several conditions. Probably not endometrial polyps. Endometriosis is a possibility. Uterine fibroids sounds real possible. They are overgrowths of muscle tissue that turn into tumors. They never become cancerous. They cause irregular bleeding, heavy bleeding and severe cramping. If you are passing out or having dizzy spells you have lost too much blood and should be seen ASAP-this would qualify as an ER visit. If you have a regular OB-GYN doctor, call his nurse tomorrow and tell her what the situation is and ask her how quickly she can work you in. It should be within 1-2 days. Let her know how concerned you are and how many pads/tampons you are using a day. If you don't have a regular doctor, go to the ER of a teaching hospital or a large private hospital. Do not go to a small neighborhood hospital. They may not have an OB-GYN doctor on call. This is what you need to see. Not a regular ER doc or internal medicine doctor. They won't know what to do. Uterine fibroids make your uterus irregular and are easy for the OB-GYN docs to palpate. You may need a sonogram, labs drawn to check for anemia, be placed on iron several times a day. I would suggest 3xdaily as soon as possible. This will cause constipation. Start it with a stool softener like Surfak or Citracel tablets 2 3xdaily. It is impt. that you be seen soon. You very well could be severely anemic. Do you feel tired all the time? I mean really exhausted? Can hardly walk to the car?

ONE symptom of cancer is a wound that will not heal, but not necessarily constant bleeding. The fact that you are wondering suggests you are concerned. Go to the doctor immediately and find out the cause of the bleeding. Be it cancer or not, constantly bleeding like a stuck pig for 6 months at the age of 39 or any age is not normal and most likely dangerous.

Where are you bleeding? I had this problem vaginally and it turned out to be fibroid tumors. I had it frozen the first two times (34 and 37) and scraped the third (42), then I finally just had my uterus taken out (45). No more bleeding. No more headaches. Life is good. But if your overies are good, keep them. Natural body hormones are better than pills. I hope it is not your nose? I Tthat would be a drag. Go see a doctor girl...what are you asking people online for, go see a person trained especially in this field! Take car of yourself.

You probably don't have cancer, but something is obviously wrong. It's extremely important that you go to a doctor; even if whatever is causing the bleeding is harmless, heavy bleeding will cause anemia which can itself become serious.
Go see a doc, right away! You should have done this months ago.

It doesn't mean you have cancer but you have something going on. I bled like that too, hemorraging, I have endometrosis, fibroids, and ovarian cystic masses. I opted for Lupron treatment to put me into a drug menopause to cut estrogen to dissolve them, almost all are gone, only 1 5.5cm cyst is left.
You need to see a gynocologist for a pap smear, exam, and possibly have some tests like abdominal sonogram, transvaginal ultrasound, and blood work, maybe urine test too. If you are anemic you'd need iron vitamins or shots. For the bleeding, are you sure it's not bladder? sometimes it can be an infection, bacterial, bladder, urinary tract that can seem like vaginal bleeding.
Cysts and other stuff can tear and bleed, plus if you have periods that could make alot of bleeding like you have. But you need to see a doctor regardless.

Yeah, that's a question that people REALLY ought to be able to answer on a forum blog board. NOT.
Do you truly believe someone is going to diagnose whether or not you have cancer by that description??? Paleeeeeeeze.
Get to a doctor----if you do not have a doctor, go to the E.R. nearest you. If you cannot drive or do not drive, call an ambulance.
Either way, unless you think some oncologist is going to be able to telekenetically get blood tests, X-rays, MRI, etc., over the computer waves--------you need to be seen by a doctor.

Go to the doctor and find out. That has happened to one of my friends. She found out she had endometreosis. She almost died, because the doctors kept putting her off. So go to the doctor and get second opintions if you have to! Don't put it off. It could be life threatening. I'm glad my friend could get in to have surgery right away. She also had to have a hysterectomy. Not saying that you have this, just go to the docotor.

Consult a gynecologist. You're probably anemic by now also. I bled heavily for 3 months prior to my hysterectomy. Good luck.
