The science and medical community in general can't figure out that mercury is responsible for autism because they are taught that every single disease and illness is attributed to just genetics which is a false and misleading statement. For more info email me or contact me on Yahoo Messenger.

Mercury does contribute to autism, most autistics have high levels of heavy metals in their system, so adding the mercury in the vaccines can be enough to tip the balance, so to speak, and cause autism to finally show itself. Yes, you CAN ask for mercury-free immunizations, but then you're at the mercy of the dr. to tell you the truth about them or not. Most are not produced with mercury anymore, the flu shot is the main one that does. But, there are other harmful elements in immunizations, like formaldehyde, that has been linked to cancer. I don't use them at all, I feel in this day and age, the risks of the poisoning from them are greater than the things we immunize against. The best place to go to hear the 'other side of the story' on immunizations is www.thinktwice.com. There is a report on there that the CDC did a few years ago in which they admitted that the levels of mercury were too high to be safe, but they suppressed it and didn't tell us. That right there is enough to make me not trust them, or the immunizations they recommend. Everyone has to make this decision for themselves, but make sure you hear both sides of the story. Only then can you say you've made an informed decision.

Autism is not a single state or condition, but a group of related conditions. It's cause is still unknown.
Researchers are investigating a number of theories, including the link between heredity, genetics and medical problems. In many families, there appears to be a pattern of autism or related disabilities, further supporting a genetic basis to the disorder. While no one gene has been identified as causing autism, researchers are searching for irregular segments of genetic code that autistic children may have inherited. It also appears that some children are born with a susceptibility to autism, but researchers have not yet identified a single "trigger" that causes autism to develop.
Because many of the symptoms of autism are similar to those of mercury (or other heavy metal) poisoning, Some have looked for a link between the mercury compounds used as a preservative in some vaccines and autism. No cause and effect has been found.
Mercury free vaccines are available. Due to public outcry, many manufacturers stopped using Thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative has been used in vaccines since the 1930's.

There are mercury free vaccines. Most vaccines made today are mercury free. You have to beware of the lot numbers. I was told by one drs. office the pharmacutical companies will try to send out the lots with mercury so they can use them up, which to my knowledge (again, limited to drs offices) is not illegal. When getting vaccines, ask your dr. to check the lot number and manufacturer. Knowning now what I do, I would make sure mercury free vaccines were used. I do not have an autistic child but I worked in an autistic group home.

theres some things in life that we just dont know
AIDS... why can't we figure out a cure?
same with autism because its just... not very understood and its not easy to figure out... if everything was so easy to know then we wouldnt have such problems as aids, autism, cancer, etc
think about it
