Hes a 44 year old doctor making 500,000 a year and theres only so much that he can want. He doesnt drink or smoke. And im not going to get him a stupid tie, i hate teh whole, give your dad a tie thing because for mothers day, they get fancy jewelry ect, but all we ever get is a stupid ugly tie--children and wives need to learn to do better than that.
ALSO, its my brothers birthday. then, what about him. I cant break my balls with this gift.

When people of this type of income get gifts , they are no different than any one else. They basically can buy any thing they want. The best thing is something from your heart. Maybe a gift cert to an intimate place for dinner for him and your mom, or a gift cert for a relaxing massage to take his mind of his busy schedule. I am sure he will love anything you give .

Tell him how much that you love him, and how proud you are, to have him, as your dad. Give him a great big hug, and kiss. Fathers never forget the little things, that mean so much to them.
Make a reservation, to take him out to dinner, at his favorite restaurant, and spend some quality time, with him..Good Luck..

How about giving your dad some quality time with you.. Do something together that you both enjoy... going for a walk. to a movie.. out to dinner ... walk along the beach or in a park... just spend time with each other and listen to what he has to say...

I had the same exact problem!
Just listen to your dad...that's what I did and I found out he needed a new swimsuit.
If you're not sure, it's always good to take dad's out to lunch or dinner and spend time with them. That's all they really want.
