A. Asking
- For ussually anything: food, clothing, shelter, more moola, fulfillment of dreams, answers... etc. (^_^)

B. Gratitude
- Thanking Him [or Her or It or Them. (^_^) ] for the blessings they got. This is the best part.

C. Ingratitude and Blame
- This is the worst: blaming Him [or Her or It or Them. (^_^) ] for the things that the person has no control over or that he/she/it has done and could not take back, or stop from doing. Mainly stems from guilt and worry. This is also thje most immature part (or reason).

Hope I've helped. (^)_(^)

The main reason we pray is not to get things from God but to get to know God.
Second is for intercession for others.
For peace of heart and mind

I don't know about other people but I pray because it's a command from God in the Bible, because God personally let me know He wanted me to start praying more, and because it's an opportunity to connect myself with Him on a spiritual level to receive wisdom and comfort and to intercede on behalf of others.

Number one is a fear of death for either themselves or more likely a loved one.
Two and three are either different fears or wishes.
It would be nice if we all prayed for positive things but I think most of us pray when we are afraid.

They dont seem to pray often just to praise or thank God, and if they do, they always ask for something too. Sad.
