What does Afghanistan have to do with Bush? It was invaded because they wouldn't give up Bin Laden after 9/11, that was not a mistake by Bush. It is now under NATO, and as I recall Canada has some obligations to NATO. Spain waivered, got attack, & the terrorists got a vote in their election. Italy took some losses & the same thing happened. England attacked and soon Blair will step down. Bush is none too popular in the US because of the war. Now Canada is scared to stand up for freedom. Would it be okay with everybody if Bin Laden just picked our leaders for us?

Somebody in our government decided that we have to create a few enemies. The name Peace Keepers sounded too plain. Now history will call our gallant leaders as being fearless in time of war.

well, they probably have better things to do, like come back and guard the borders of canada. of course, if they stay there as part of an international group and caught binladen they could really rub it to the americans.
