It depends on where you work, but generally you get 2 weeks the first year and earn more as you secure seniority.

I work in a retail pharmacy setting and no they don't get good vacations. they usually work 14 hour days, deal with alot of variables in that 14 hours. also in a retail setting there are generally 2 pharmacist, managing and rotating. You can't really call off sick either. in 1 year our pharmacist has been off 1 scheduled saturday and worked his monday off at another location to cover an emergency. The Answer is NO!

It would all depend on where you work. I work in a hospital and I get 2 weeks my first year. Next year, I'll get 2 weeks vacation and 1 week sick leave (3 weeks vacation)

Anyone who works in the medical field some times can afford vacations & some just can't because of debt.. The employer can pay for them if they feel that you are the employee of the year.

I dont work in this field, but since there is a high demand for people in the health field, you may get quite a few benefits. However, becoming a member of the medical field should not mean how much money of benefits your job will get you. It's for the people, not for yourself.

They make good money - so technically yes - they do get good vacations - whatever they can afford. As for time off - depends where they work.
