I am looking for a good daycamp for my 8 yr old son. He is diagnosed with Aspergers and I was hoping to find a daycamp that can offer swimming and other activities to keep him busy through the summer. Something part time would be great and the l9ocation would have to be near Northeast Philadelphia. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks Katie

Although I'm not from Philadelphia, you can try your local YMCA. They have summer day camps available for all ages, times and needs. I have an 8 year old daughter who attends a Y summer camp -- this is her second summer and she loves it! Below is a listing for all of the YMCAs in your area. Good luck!

I have a great suggestion that my son attended last summer.
The philadelphia dept of recreation summer art camp. They have buses that stop at all the playgrounds to take the kids to this camp. Check out the website and you can download the application.

I would also strongly recommend Martial Arts. Check out the website I listed. Visit and talk to a Martial Art instructor.
