I think that should well give you more than 3 days worth of stuff to do. Have a great trip, although the traffic is horrific!

The traffic is very bad in GA-summer time makes it a tad better, but make sure you plan accordingly

The Aquarium-supposedly the biggest one in...the Southeast or nation or something-very new
The Coca-Cola Museum-history of company and (lots of) free samples
Atlanta Zoo
The CNN place.
if you're a sports fan
I know the braves aren't doing that well, but I love going to Turner Field and watching a baseball game. We also got a new Soccer field.
I'm sure there are shows/concerts around
for some real southern culture, I'd suggest savannah etc..

have fun!!!

actually everyone needs to stay in the North aspect suburbs which includes Gwinnett, Forsyth, North Fulton, and Cobb counties. in case you p.c.. a city in a form of counties you may anticipate a hellish holiday in case you're using in the route of Atlanta for paintings. on the south aspect South Fulton, Coweta.... uh... I forget what the different county down there is said as... it really is not just about as undesirable of a visit. I lived in Alpharetta and Lawrenceville (both are northern suburbs) for 5 years and that i hated existence attempting to not sleep there and paintings in Atlanta. I lived close to Peachtree city on the south aspect for a 12 months and talked about there have been a lot fewer human beings down there. about a 12 months in the past I merely gave up on the burbs and moved contained in the city of Atlanta. as an celebration, when I lived in reality 30 to 32 miles far off from the position I paintings in downtown Atlanta and that i replaced into on the north aspect it took me about an hour and quarter-hour to get domicile daily. when I lived on the south aspect i replaced into 40 miles far off from my paintings and it in reality ever took me about 40 5 minutes to make it domicile.
