Ride it out and wait your turn. Right now, she can't see who has her best interest. It's all about her not being able to let go. If you really like her and are not just trying to hit that stuff be there for her as a friend. She will come around.

I don't know if you really can. Right now I'm in a similar situation. I'M the girl. Until I'm convinced that this guy totally doesn't want me (he's not my ex, but still) then I'm not devoting my heart--and a considerable amount of time to my friend.

She might not have opened her eyes to everyone else in the world yet, so do something to show her you care and she might realize her ex isn't the only one, and she needs to get back to the playing field.

just be yourself around her and not try 2 act all werid and stuff around her and if someone says something 2 her or about her stick up for her and she will have more respect for you. And she SHOULDN'T be attracted 2 her ex

Hang out with her. Be her friend, first.
Compliment her; be genuine in what you say. Follow up what you say with a touch on the arm, brush her hair to the side, or look deeply and longingly into her eyes.
