why would he plan such a horrible life for people?

because thats how god rolls...god is a thug, havent you read about josua's conquest of Canaan..god told him to kill everyone, man, women. and child. These people did nothing wrong except exist on land that god wanted for his peeps. No mercy!!!!!! god even let the soldiers rape any women they wanted....

No He doesn't plan horrible things for people, and I know this is hard to watch isn't it? We hear about horrible things all the time. Ever since the beginning, man has wanted to make his own choices and do his own thing, and God could have made us do what He says, which is the best way, but man wanted to make up his own mind, and make his own choices, and this is the result. Sin has always been in the world.
God gives every person choices, a "free will" to do what he wants to do, unfortunately innocent people get caught in these awful decisions that people make. Be assured that the people who do these things get their punishment from God. Everyone has to face God when they die for the "deeds they've done in the body" the Scriptures say. He is fair and just, but very hard on people who mistreat others. I hope this helps answer your question.......Sometimes it's hard to explain in a few words.

God doesn't plan those things, it's the devil that does horrible things like that. God only want good things to happen to us.
