Usually when you buy toys for a toddler you can read the label and it will tell you what age it is appropriate for. Little Tykes, Baby Einstein, and Playschool (esp playschool) are very good about listing the age appropriateness. You could check out their websites and they will inform you more too. Good luck.

Baby Einstien has some wonderful and safe toys for toddlers. And they're very educational. dont ever buy things with small pieces or strings that they could choke on.

I was taught that if the could fit through the cardboard roll of toilet paper then it was not safe. If you can not pass it through then it is safe. Good luck!!!

your pots and pans.. their noisy but they can't swallow them, stick them up their noses, and they love the love clang. plus you can buy all kinds of child proof toys and spend a fortune and they still like the pots and pans ....see ,cheap, easy...... just get cotton balls for your ears
