The average age is probably 18-21. And yes, while occasionally interesting questions do get asked here, most of them are terrible. What really surprises me are the lack of basic English writing skills I see on here.

12-17 years of age. Although I am 36, but I ask financial and computer questions. This catergory seems teenage-ish to me.
