Yes, it is very important to observe privacy in the family. Let everyone live his life the way he wants to live it. Secrets are private things that anyone can keep within himself without the obligation to divulge it to anybody even to his family members. There is no human law in this whole wide world that prohibits one family member from keeping his secrets within himself. There is no law that states that one has the obligation to tell his secrets to his family members.
Therefore, to answer your question, family members should respect each other's attitude about secrets. Remember that each member of the family has the right either to reveal or to keep his secrets in life. If someone in your family shares his secrets with you, thank him for he trusts you. When he seeks your advice, help him the best way you can but try to keep the secret within yourself unless he says that you may. If he doesn't, keep mum about it and you'll never go wrong.

I think a young girl growing with a young boy as brother it would be normal for a girl to have privacy and some secrets from her brother, and may even have discussions of it with her mom but not her dad, and that is perfectly ok.
yes it is important that the family has its own privacy.
The only one we cannot have secrets from is God. He will know it all. But the rest of the world is not God. You are a part of it and if you have a family it is the parent's responsibility also to determine what level of privacy a child should have.

whilst it includes actual privateness and proximity, I actually have a tendency to be particularly delicate. i'm no longer able to stand sleeping over at different peoples living house because of the fact i don't have a defined very own area or area and each each now and then locate it no longer trouble-free whilst others stay at my living house too. i've got continually be an particularly bodily inner maximum guy or woman who gets upset or panicky if my very own area is threatened. the only exception to it is my fiance. For some reason, i can tolerate (and enjoy_ him being in my very own area 24/7. His presence in my area purely would not area me and he, even with the indisputable fact that an particularly reserved and private guy or woman, feels an identical around me. i think we sort of sense as though we are an extension of one yet another and no separation looks wanted or choose, till we are having a confrontation. yet with all and sundry else, I actually panic in the event that they invade my actual area and privateness. i've got faith suffocated.... Privacy is very important in a family. However, a parent must know what his or her child is doing; they should know their child's friends, and hang out spots.

yes, definitely. well, thats how i look at it. there are somethings that people in a family arent comfortable saying around family members. they need time to prepare what to say, and when it is proper to say it. thats my view.

yes...some things should be kept secret...you need to take it upon yourself to know what to tell and what not to tell...i mean, petty things that won't hurt anybody you shouldn't say anything about...if it's something big that will make a difference in any way whatsoever, you should let someone know

yes but that doesn't mean someone can tell others about the secret so that they can be the "hero" for keeping it.
