I am a christian and I would overjoyed that everyone believed in God, faith, my religion the way I do but I have come to realize that everyone has their own thought about life and what they think is the real answer
I would want all to come to know God and actually believe that he is real...I'm not saying I'm brainwashed because I chose God by myself.Because no one can make you believe something thus I can't make you believe in God I can only tell you about him and hope you will accept but eveyone has their own thoughts that some won't change
but over all I can't say he does exist because I don't have proof so why would you believe in him?The things that have happened in my life are because of God
I can't make you believe in him so I will leave It at that
But I am not saying Its wrong believeing in evolution because I am offended when u say believing in God is wrong that religion is some phony comfort zone
So I want to see what you think about what I think.Your opinions help me

I think your opinion is an interesting take on spirituality. It's great that you acknowledge that people have different beliefs. In your post you said "over all I can't say he does exist because I don't have proof". Many Christians believe the proof of God is seen everyday. Everytime a baby is born, someone passes, someone falls in love, etc. I agree that we need to accept that every individual is entitled to their own beliefs. We may not agree with them, but we should respect them.

I'm a christian too, I like what you did and the guts it may have taken to do it. I can say one thing. There is a God, there is to much proof for there not to be one. I personally think that some people just believe in a faith cause their scared to live alone. I don't have anything against them, but I just hope the are choosing the only God I believe in.

God and religion ARE a phony comfort zone. Just accept it. If you want to be delusional go right ahead, but don't insist that everyone else join you in your fantasy. That goes for all of you religious people. Believe in Xork the Space God if you want, just shut up about it. The rest of us don't want to hear it. So don't act surprise when we expose your phony belief system for the mythology that it is.

Lovely job witnessing!

I'm sure you're certain to gets lots of mixed reaction from it.

I don't believe we 'evolved' from monkeys though, and I don't think you do either...but some people may read the wrong thing into your expression regarding "evolution"...

God created everything...and if things change over time, than it's only because he allowed it, and created it that way...Meanwhile, we never came from the Big Bang...and we never came from monkeys. God created man in his own image -
(Just had to specify that for any who may be confused by the concept of "evolution"...)

I too am a Christian. It saddens me to hear you say that you don't have proof that JESUS exists. The BIBLE is God's written word...all the proof you need.
Being a Christian is not about "religion", it's a personal relationship with Jesus Christ..

I am happy to talk to you more about this if you want.

Study His Word which is His Spirit.

Faith is important but faith in what?

Even Satan believes in God.

I appreciate your efforts to be understanding that we are individuals and needing to find our own Paths that will work with us in our own individualized lives.

Don't be offended when some people say believing in "god" is wrong. If you are very secure in your faith, you won't take offense to such comments. :-) They are just that---words. Brush it off. :-) I am secure in my Path, and I learned to not take offense when people put down evolution, science, and putting down atheists (which often happens here). :-)

It's about "free will", which lets one choose what they believe.
I wish all could just "live and let live (or die)" as you seem to be able to, because belief is a work of the Holy Spirit, not an arm wrestling match! good points, well taken here...
