I don't know where most of you people get your information, but mines "scientifically" accurate.
Women have five internal points of orgasm (out of nineteen total), four of which are vaginal. Any sized man can hit the first two (a vulval, or clitoral orgasm or a vaginal G-spot orgasm), But once a woman is fully aroused for proper accommodations, it *usually* takes a seven to nine inch penis to stimulate the other two ( The uterine orgasm- located just above the entrance to the uterus, and the Anterior Fornix Erotic zone- located on the lower wall of the vaginal canal near the very back). The size, of coarse, also depends on how the woman is built. Smaller women, especially those of Asian decent, more often can have full vaginal stimulation with a smaller penis.
I have an eight inch penis and have found myself in both scenarios. To some smaller girls, I've been large enough to cause discomfort. While to some "loose" girls, I was not able to fully penetrate. What you should honestly strive for is a decent length for the type of women you enjoy, but focus more on girth so you can hit each orgasm point at once. six to seven inches in girth is perfect for almost all women to respond "oh my gawd" upon full penetration, no matter the length.
But the final thing I should say is "it doesn't matter if you have a pistol or a bazooka if you can't use either."
Size is good. Technique is better. Both combined with good sexual stamina is best!
And for those women who disagree with me, get a hold of me at my name on yahoo and I will happily "prove" you wrong as long as your within traveling distance.

I believe size helps. But if a guy knows what he is doing and is confident in his skills than size wont play a part at all.
I had an exboyfriend that was a bit on the small side, in comparison to the depth of my vagina, and we had amazing sex for years (i believe the emotional connection also played a big part). And now im in a new relationship with a man that can completely fill me up and its absolutly incredible, amazing, great, awesome, etc.
SO, to sum up what I just said, I think its up to the woman (or man) you are trying to satisfy and their body, the emotional connection and the skills you may or may not have.

To a certain extent it does.
Too small, meaning less than three inches, and a penis is not really usable.
Too big, which varies from girl to girl, and you risk hurting your partner.
Personally, I wish my lover was a bit smaller, because it hurts like a b***H whenever we start. For a small girl like me, five or six inches is ideal.

no, it's how you work with it...size doesn't matter. and if for some reason, it doesn't work out, there's other things to do.

statistics show that the average vagina can only hold 6 inches anyway....so.....maybe it does...too big isn't always good--it can be uncomfortable.
