I mean, why are we here? and what's there after we die?

While there are some really good answers here, I think what you're trying to ask is why are we here on the earth? Many Christians would answer that God created us for His pleasure and compantionship, but if that's the case, why not skip earth altogether and just take us up to heaven? If you really take the time to think about it, we only live for a short period of time, 70 to 80 years for most of us, yet heaven is supposed to last for all eternity. 70 to 80 years is like a blink of the eye for God. So really what's the point? The truth is that this earth is not our home. This is not where God intended for us to live. He wants us in heaven with Him, but because Satan and his demons rebelled against God, God has to make sure that such a rebellion will not take place again. He has to keep His house clean. So He places us here on earth to be tested. Adam and Eve's test was to see if they would obey God or eat the fruit from the tree God had forbidden. They failed, and since then, we have all fallen into temptation and sinned against God, but lucky for us, Jesus Christ came to earth, died on the cross, and paid for our sins with His blood. All we have to do now to pass this test is repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ into our hearts, and then we are reconciled with the Holy Father. So we have it pretty easy when you think about it. And after we have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus, like Mainworry says, we now are to produce fruit for the harvest.
And it is true, heaven is going to make this place seem pretty bleak and desolate. So don't lose heart if your life right now isn't going very well, which I'm assuming to be true for you to even ask that, the ultimate question.

To find out who we truly are, that we are much more than just this physical body we reside, to discover that we are also spiritual beings that are eternal. We existed before we were born and we will continue to exist after die. Death is just an illusion. It is only a transition from one world to another. It is the same as birth. Are we afraid of birth, no? We should feel the same towards death. We have died many times before and we will continue to do so until we one day realize that we do not have to this anymore and break free from the illusion that we live in this reality. The answers are there if you sincerely seek them.

i'm grabbing what this is right here and running with it. evol is short for evolve, which is what we do. love is spelled sorta like evolve. so if we find love in what ever or who ever or when ever, than were on our way towards evolve. which is at least the direction im striving for. but i'm not worried about the destination, because there are a bunch of sites to see along the way. maybe i'll even slow down and play with new toys, friends, or experiences.......or even play with the journy itself.

Hi! Quite simply, the meaning of life is to become ONE with the essence of unconditional LOVE; which many call GOD and to be a perfect vessel for which LOVE flows in and out. The meaning of life is to perfect our unconditional LOVE by being unconditional LOVE and uniting that LOVE with the one-consciousness, which is the very essence of unconditional LOVE.
Enlightenment is to become divine LOVE, ascend from being a 3rd dimension being to a higher dimensional spirit all by way of giving oneself to ALL in service. Enlightenment is the realization that we have always been one with LOVE/GOD and ALL life and to become integrated as a perfect spiritual being, co-creator and face of GOD/LOVE. Through trials and tribulations, the soul develops sympathy, empathy, gentleness, givingness, understanding etc. in which all of these are found within the prism of LOVE.
Throughout time, many have wondered why the nicest people tend to suffer the most. The answer lies within the understanding that those "nice" people have the greatest potential for being the vessels of unconditional LOVE. Those who suffer the most, have more sympathy, empathy, gentleness etc. to give. Awareness is the first step.
GOD is the very essence of actively creative unconditional LOVE.GOD is LOVE; LOVE is GOD! ALL life is LOVE/GOD. Unconditional LOVE/GOD is non-judgemental. Live life not in judgement but in LOVE/GOD. Teach and demonstrate onto others to do the same. LOVE ALL, for they are LOVE/GOD. LOVE especially those who are different, for they have important lessons to teach us ALL, about unconditional LOVE, exceptance, tolerance, empathy, sympathy and givingness. If you are filled with LOVE, then you also are filled with GOD because the two are inseparable.
ALL is perfect within DIVINITY. ALL is perfect within the plan of ever-encompassing LOVE/GOD. Live life in equality for no part/fraction/fragment of LOVE/GOD is greater than another. It is ALL ONE. We are ALL ONE. Ascension is a state of complete being, knowingness and submersion within LOVE/GOD, and life is devoted and surrendered to selfless service. The physical body becomes illuminated and filled with light. It glows from within and is able to ascend from place and time. The soul is the part of us that is the eternal seed of LOVE/GOD. Energy cannot die. It can only transform and so it is, that once we shed our bodies and our judgements on behalf of our egos, we ascend back to LOVE/GOD - the ONE LOVE vibration!

we are here to live for God and help others come to God we are also here to anger Satan because he tempts us and we shouldn't listen to him. when we die we go to heaven and watch Satan burn in the pits of hell. if u don't go to heaven then u burn in hell with Satan
